I was born in the back hills of Kentucky, the daughter of poor dirt farmers...No, wait! Wrong story!I was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the youngest of five daughters to Charles & Lois Druckenmiller. I graduated from Mt. Union Area High School in 1985. I then attended South Hills Business School in State College, PA, and became a Medical Secretary.
After a variety of circumstances, I found myself living and working in Colorado Springs, CO, where I met my husband, Vernon, who was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and stationed at the USAF Academy. A few months later, we were married at the Academy's Community Chapel, and on our way to starting a family. We have four children: Karleen, Vernon Jr., Julia Kathryn, and Wesley.
We moved to Portland, OR, so Vern could attend Portland Bible College. Mary & Vern, who is a Senior Pastor, moved to Havre to plant Christian Life Center, then Hi-Line Christian Church, in 1998, when I was introduced to Your Network of Praise. I am the Executive Secretary, Women's Pastor, Worship Team Director, and a Bible Bears Leader at our church In my "spare time". I also work full- time as a Legal Secretary.
Even though I work part-time, I am so blessed to be a part of something so fantastic as Your Network of Praise. What an incredible tool this Network is in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Rememer...keep your eyes focused on the Lord...keep feasting on His word...keep allowing His Holy Spirit to move in and through your life. You, too, will be surprised at all the wonderful opportunities that He has in store for you! God Bless you!
